Squaw Lakes

One of more popular areas in the Applegate Recreation Area is Squaw Lakes. If you want to get away from it all and really enjoy the out of doors then Squaw Lakes is for you. Crossing the Applegate Dam and following the road up the mountain about eight miles will take you to the high lakes. The air is clean and the water fresh. Nineteen campsite are scattered around the lakes. Parking is at the entrance and an onsite host may be available to help you carry your gear to your campsite.
