The price of this fee is designed to deter usage. It is an attempt to restore some peacefulness around the Lake. We are willing to offer this service to those that truly need it.

This is an OPTIONAL SERVICE.

Please be advised.
The Camphost has many responsibilities. They could be working in other areas of the Lake, or delivering stuff to another campsite. Please exercise patience.

Portage Service Schedule:

Peak Arrival times are: 3PM-8PM Daily

Peak Departure times are: 8AM-12 PM Daily    

As a courtesy to other campers, please plan your arrival/departure within these times.

PLEASE NOTE:  
Every attempt will be made to ensure the Camphost is onsite during these peak-periods, however, this is not always possible. Please pack your camping gear with the expectation of self-hiking it to your site. If you are able to utilize this service, it's a bonus.
